The Rocky Mountains, Boulder, Denver and surrounding attractions

There is so much to do in Colorado, so here are just a few suggestions.  If I had never been to Colorado before, I'd certainly make it a point to head west up I-70 to visit some mountain towns.  Sure it might be cold but the Rocky Mountains are a sight to behold any season in Colorado.  Some great mountain towns not too far away are: Evergreen, Idaho Springs,  Winter Park, and Breckenridge. Another great mountain town heading north of Boulder is Estes Park.  On the way to Estes Park, you can stop in Lyons, CO and visit the great Oskar Blues Restaurant and venue.  Lyons is only 25 min or so from Boulder.  Other great ski towns are Vail, Beaver Creek, and Steamboat Springs.

If you're not looking for too much adventure and what to check out Boulder, I recommend Snarfs sandwich shop for the best subs hands down!  Then, scoot over to Pearl Street mall which is a great outdoor walking mall with shops and restaurants all over.  Want some great local brew and killer food?  Try Mountain Sun Brewery just off the mall on Pearl Street.  Boulder also has some great parks and walking paths throughout the town.

If you've never been Denver, I would recommend checking out downtown or possibly visiting Golden which is just west of Denver by 15 minutes or so.  There you can visit and tour Coors Brewery or check out quaint downtown Golden.
